Position: IT Field Technician Full-Time Position
Reports to Director of Information Systems

Job Summary
We are looking for motivated IT Field Technicians to join our information technology team. The duties of an IT field technician involve performing guided computer network repair, software and hardware troubleshooting, hardware replacements, and related tasks. This may include working with Point-of-Sale equipment, Drive-Thru headset and timer systems, computers, printers, camera equipment, and network equipment & cabling. In this role, you will travel to a store location to assist in IT service installation, repair, or general support and execute other related tasks as deemed necessary. Your responsibilities will involve working with remote Support Technicians to diagnose and quickly resolve issues in a fast-paced environment. You provide an on-site presence for more complex matters that cannot be resolved remotely or over the phone. You will communicate extensively with restaurant staff (your customer) and vendors - excellent communication and documentation skills are vital. You will also complete preventative maintenance routines on IT equipment designed to maintain a high level of functionality and increase the longevity of the equipment. Our preferred applicant has at least 2 years of technical experience and a customer-oriented mindset.
Responsibility:
· Perform on-site "smart hands" troubleshooting guided by Support Technicians
· Install new equipment and software to meet client needs
· Maintain systems to ensure they run properly
· Perform preventative maintenance during routine store visits
· Preventative maintenance duties include but are not limited to:
· Network cable cleanups
· Camera cleaning & adjustments
· Digital Menu Board filter cleaning/replacement
· Electrical Power component management (UPS/line leveler and surge protection checks)
· Perform hardware repairs or replacements when necessary, as directed by Support Technicians
· Train customers on basic troubleshooting and how to use new systems
Qualifications:
· An associate or bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field is preferred but not required
· 2+ years of technical experience in the industry
· Proficiency with the installation and repair of computers and standard office equipment
· Proficient in network wiring and termination skills
· Knowledge and use of common hand and power tools
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Available to travel up to 60%; Able to work outdoors and lift 75lbs
· Reliable transportation & clean driving record
· Flexible schedule based on the needs of the business
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Well-organized and professional
Compensation:
· Starting Wage: $25 per hour
· Performance-based Bonus: Up to $10,000 per year
· Service Incentive Bonus: Up to $5,000 per year ($1,000 per year up through five years)
· Vehicle Allowance: $1,000 per month (payable unless company vehicle is provided)
· Cell Phone Allowance: $100 per month
· Tool Allowance: $5,000 per year for the purchase and replenishment of job-specific tools
