We are helping our client who is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Manager to join their dynamic and growing team in Dallas, TX who has experience working with Architect, Engineer or Construction industries. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of their information technology systems, ensuring the smooth operation of their IT infrastructure, and supporting their team of architects and designers with their technology needs, as well as the rest of the company. Experience supporting REVIT, Filemaker Pro and Windows based programs, will be required.
Key Responsibilities for the IT Manager will include, but not limited to:
- Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user devices.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues. As well as ensuring cybersecurity measures are in place to protect company data and systems.
- Plan and execute IT projects, such as system upgrades and new technology implementations.
- Monitor and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Requirements for the IT Manager will include, but not limited to:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably within the architecture or design industry with a strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure management.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software, required.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are highly desirable.
