Exciting Locum Tenens Opportunity for CT Surgery Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants in Los Angeles, CA
We are currently seeking two highly skilled and dedicated CT Surgery Physician Assistants for locum tenens positions at a distinguished low-volume center specializing in cardiac and thoracic surgery located in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, CA. These contracts are available due to the maternity leave of two team members.

Role and Responsibilities:
The roles will encompass OR, rounding, consults, and call duties, with a significant focus on ICU/floor management. OR case distribution aims to be equitable, especially when on call. No clinic duties will be required except to cover for NPs on vacation. The call schedule includes Monday to Friday from 0730-1600, with on-call duties from 1600-0730. Weekend calls run from Saturday 0730 through Monday 0730, with approximately 12-13 call shifts per month expected due to the current staffing levels.
Work Schedule:
The current schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours each day, with a 1 in 3 call rotation including every third weekend.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will be certified PAs or ACNPs with significant experience in cardiac and thoracic surgery. They should be adept at performing in both academic and community healthcare settings and possess strong collaborative, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Temporary Privileging:
Temporary privileging can be arranged within 2 weeks, provided all documentation, references, and case logs are submitted. A concurrent full privileging process will also be undertaken.
