We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team at Everest Total Health and MedFit of Ga. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in outpatient settings, ensuring high-quality patient care and support. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic medical environment with exposure to various specialties and patient populations.
Duties:
- Perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Experience in Venipunctures, IV Therapy, drawing medications, administering injections, consulting patients on their weight loss goals and following up on refills.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic physiology knowledge
- Ability to work in a small office setting and be a team player.
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards patients
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Willingness to inhale new skills and adapt to changing healthcare systems
Our office is looking for a highly motivated CMA that is looking to grow and expand with our company. The office has two practices, Everest Total Health which is focused on Orthopedic care and Interventional Pain Management for the treatment of primarily accident injury clients. This requires assisting the Medical Doctor in drawing injections for Intra Muscular Trigger point and Joint Injections, drawing Blood and spinning the blood down for PRP injections of both joint and spine, assisting in the delivery of Perineural Nerve injections, taking Vital signs and preparing the patient for procedures.
Our other practice MedFit of GA is geared toward Medical Weight loss, Hormone Replacement Therapy, IV Therapy and Anti-Aging techniques. In this practice you are required to be able to draw blood for CBC's, administer Weight loss injections, draw medications, set people up with IV Therapy and consult with patients on there Weight loss goals and medication experience.
The position is 2-2.5 days per week at our Marietta, GA location.

Pay: $18.50 - $27.00 per hour
