Pentagon Technologies Group, Inc. provides technical services and products to customers within the Semiconductor Industry. We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Electrical Project Manager to join our team.
Job Summary:
As a key member of the Project Execution Team the Electrical Project Manager is responsible for the installation of low voltage electrical systems along with delivering construction projects using multiple project delivery and execution strategies. The role requires interaction with key stakeholders including customer staff, facility owners, central design and site construction. Participation in design reviews, providing feedback to contracted engineering firms, and providing input to design package schedules to support an integrated construction schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in bid evaluation and selection process for construction awards.
- Responsible for performance management of contracted construction resources including coordination with construction resources to manage discipline schedule and budget.
- Daily coordination with additional PM’s/System Owners to enable key transition of construction phases.
- Ensures accuracy of estimation scope of work and linkage to project schedules. Manages the budget, forecasts trades resources, resolves resource conflicts, and coordinates trades mobilization.
- Management of startup and commissioning activities for electrical equipment.
- Engage in contract and legal negotiations, incident investigations, safety training and project assessment.
- Responsible for the safe and successful completion of scope of work to ensure projects are completed with the highest degree of accuracy and success.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 10 years of related project experience.
- Experience managing general contractor scope of work is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyze low voltage electrical system distribution systems.
- Ability to prepare facility system capacity versus demand forecasts for large and small industrial projects. Strong working knowledge of NEC.
- PMP certified is a plus.
