DEVELOPMENTAL REHAB SERVICES / THERAPY FOR KIDZ Clinics is currently hiring for a P/T Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapy services to our clients at our Spring Therapy /ABA Clinic (77388). Candidate should be motivated, confident therapist who is an active clinical contributor to our Clinic Therapy Team. Having experience with Sensory /Feeding with Pediatrics is needed (or take an active role in training/education components provided).
THERAPY FOR KIDZ Clinics specifically provide an "All-In-One" Concept of Pediatric Therapy Services for Children with Autism & other Special Needs. At Therapy For Kidz, We are client-focused practice and take a Multi-Disciplinary Team Approach to optimize our Clinical Outcomes across all Disciplines of ST/OT/ABA services. Besides OT treatments, this clinician will also be involved in parent/teacher training components related to sensory therapy components / basic feeding therapy experience needed (aversions, picky eater & exposure therapies)
Caseload will consist of a mix of ABA Clients and Outpatient OT Clients; Fusion Web Clinic for Documentation / Active participation with setting/modifying client schedules.
Job Duties:
COTA will implement occupational therapy services to patients in the in accordance with the plan of care and under the direction of the OTR/Clinical Supervisor.
OTA Qualifications:
- A minimum of a 2 yr. Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensure or certification by the state of Texas as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (TBOTE)
- Pediatric Therapy Experience REQUIRED
- Experience with Autism & Sensory Processing Strategies in order to assist with education/training with non-therapy personnel & parents.
- Feeding Therapy / Sensory Food Play Experience A PLUS
- Active participant with ABA Clinical Therapy Team (OT/ST/ABA) to give insight and feedback with OT therapeutic strategies within our scope of practice.

Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour
