Summary
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for performing purchase contract reviews, preparing quotes, processing orders, and resolving customer inquiries with a key focus being military purchase contracts. The Sales Support Specialist will also support aftermarket sales activities including sourcing, quoting, and executing sale or exchange transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Generates Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) reports and coordinates DCMA inspections.
· Develops, maps, and administers Government Property Procedures Guidance (GPPG) to ensure compliance.
· Audits administration related to GPPG development.
· Updates System for Award Management (SAM’s) registry.
· Responsible for compliance oversight of the National Institute of Standards and Technologies (NIST) program and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program.
· Completes material sales activities including direct ship programs, asset management, and trades.
· Oversees tooling contract purchases.
· Oversees military repair activities to ensure timely quote process and on time delivery of repair activities.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Ability to perform detailed purchase contract reviews and meet deadlines
· Strong computer skills with the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office products.
· Must be able to provide consistent accountability for sales efforts.
· Excellent planning and organizational skills.
· Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills.
· Ability to work with teams and present data to assist in decision making processes in a team environment.
Required Education and Experience
· Minimum two years of related experience with military agencies and programs such as (DCMA, GPPG, SAM’s, NIST, CMMC).
· Aerospace industry experience preferred.
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
