As a member of the Engineering Department you will primarily be supporting automated water jet robot cells, be a technical expert in automation and robotics, and ensure that automation projects are completed on time and on budget. Other duties include managing automation projects and supporting the manufacturing engineers.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Program and touch up on robots - FANUC, MOTORMAN, and/or ABB
- Participating in creating RFQ’s, cost estimates, and equipment specifications
- Maintenance support on robots and PLC’s
- Design and support automated inspection and assembly fixturing
- Cross functional collaboration with Production and Quality
- Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications
- Data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and validate those improvements
Required Education/Training:
· Associates degree in Engineering
· Robot programming – FANUC, Motoman/Yaskawa
Desired Education/Training
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
· Robot programming – ABB
· Offline programming with Fanuc Roboguide and/or MotoSim
· Experience with robotic water jet cells
· PLC programming – primarily Allen Bradley
· Project management
· Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
