Assistant Sales Coordinator
Sellers Publishing, Inc., of South Portland, ME – a rapidly growing publisher of greeting cards, calendars, and books – seeks a high-energy, detail-oriented, resourceful, individual, able to multi-task across a wide spectrum of work activities. This full-time, salaried position will be based in South Portland, and will work with a team of talented Sales Managers, Marketing Managers, Customer Service, and interface with most every department in the company. This position reports to the Sales Coordinator & Project Manager.
A sense of humor and light-heartedness is a requirement.
Responsibilities
Support Sales Coordinator & Project Manager in the following areas:
· Creation of new customer installation plans, including setups and tracking, creation of log books/best practices and sales follow-up
· Ongoing Key Account Management, including 3rd party service, providing tracking, follow up, and execution of planogram resets/refreshes
· Monitor everyday continuity service and seasonal sets up for specific key accounts
· Project planning for large chains, various tracking, and coordination of special customer specific programs
· Coordinate trade shows by identifying and executing various show marketing efforts, place show orders, ensure timely registration and payments, coordinate and meet show needs as determined by sales managers, delivery, tracking, and lead follow-up
· Assist and support Sales Managers with day to day account management demands and business development activities
· Coordinate efforts to grow and maximize existing account sales
· Perform all other duties assigned by the Sales Coordinator & Project Manager
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
· Requires strong organization and analytical skills, as well as problem-solving capability.
· Must have the ability to multi-task in an often high-pressure, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
· Good planning, follow-up and sales administration skills.
· Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on occasion.
· Strong team player!
