Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Education, the Outreach & Credentialing Coordinator that will play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging individuals who are experiencing homelessness individuals, returning to the community from incarceration, and experiencing substance use disorders and connecting them with our workforce development services. This position requires a strong commitment to serving vulnerable populations, excellent initiative and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with all staff members.
Specific duties of the Outreach & Credentialing Coordinator include:
- Assessing agency-wide client recruitment needs and implementing strategic recruitment and screening strategies for our workforce development programs.
- Collaborating with community partners to schedule workshops for clients/alumni to educate them on professional development opportunities and educational resources.
- Developing and maintaining strong partnerships and resources in the community that will benefit clients.
- Oversee and assist in administering credentialing programming for clients, including the National Retail Federation Foundation Customer Service & Sales, OSHA 10, and other credentialing opportunities relevant for our clients to enter a competitive workplace.
- Entering and assessing data in the computer tracking system.
- Completing quarterly internal and external reports.
- Acting as coverage for workforce development classes within the education department as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director or designee.
Qualifications
- Strong familiarity with supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, returning to the community from incarceration, and experiencing substance use disorders.
- Experience teaching computer skills and working to support individuals seeking employment.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to utilize data to inform decision making.
- Ability to respond flexibly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Pay: $49,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
