Note:
Please note, this position requires the first two weeks for onsite training, this is mandatory and a remote option will not be available for training. The prospective start date is aimed for 7/15 and the applicants will need to be available for this start date, there will be no extensions. The position has the ability to be remote with a couple days a month onsite.
JOB DESCRIPTIONProvides quality service in the area of Human Resources and Payroll by providing information on policies and resolution to inquiries for all team members through multi-channel support. Maintains strong relationships by handling team member questions and concerns with accuracy, sense of urgency and professionalism. Performs data entry and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills to trouble shoot problems.
Major Responsibilities/Key Task
Provide an exceptional service experience on HR matters to both current and past Grainger team members. • Demonstrate troubleshooting to resolve team member problems and promote self-service when applicable. • Respond to inquiries quickly and translate inquiries into our case management application during the interaction.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service or HR position
- Experience resolving situations while following documented processes
- A desire to collaborate across teams and departments to foster trust, commitment, accountability and results.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement methodologies to identify a need for change and improvements in current processes
- Participate in metric/quality review and open coaching discussions
- Prior HR education or fast paced, service center work experience is preferred
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
