Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Culinary Leadership: Lead the culinary team in creating and executing a diverse menu that showcases seasonal ingredients and contemporary culinary trends.
- Menu Development: Design and develop menus for member dining, events, banquets, and the pool cafe, ensuring a high standard of quality and creativity.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation in all kitchen operations.
- Cost Management: Oversee food cost management, inventory control, and purchasing to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute catered events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our members and guests.
- Member Engagement: Interact with club members to gather feedback, address concerns, and tailor the culinary offerings to meet their preferences.
- Management Collaboration: Work closely with the management team to develop and refine menus, aligning culinary offerings with the club's overall vision and member expectations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Sous chef or similar leadership role in a high-end culinary establishment.
- Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to collaborate with the management team on menu creation and club initiatives.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification preferred.
