Lead Infant Stimulation Therapist (Bilingual Spanish or Korean or Armenian or Chinese Preferred)
Location: Glendale, Los Angeles (Ktown, DTLA, Mid Wilshire, Silver Lake), Pasadena, Burbank, Hollywood, Arcadia, El Monte, Azusa, Baldwin Park, West Covina, City of Industry, Hacienda Heights, San Dimas, Whittier and Rowland Heights.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Autism Spectrum Support Center is seeking for a bilingual (Spanish or Korean), high energy Lead Infant Stimulation Therapist to drive from client to client in the greater Los Angeles area and go into homes to provide infant stimulation and/or ABA 1:1, parent training, consulting and interventions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Performing 805 Infant Development, Infant Stimulation and/or ABA in-home 1:1, parent training, consulting, interventions (Infant Stimulation Therapist)
· Develops and maintains a professional relationship and rapport with families, client, staff, professionals
· Records and analyzes data/session notes from daily sessions
· Analyzes client data collection and data trends to make programming decisions/recommendations/implementations
· Conducts reliability data for parents on a monthly basis
· Able to articulate ASSC assessment and intervention planning guidelines
· Provides agendas, protocols, measurement systems and procedures for monitoring family progress toward goals
· Turns in all required paperwork and data sheets in time frames outlined in the policies and procedures
· Program Goals are Updated: client goals are updated on a regular basis; client goals are updated as necessary
· Maintain client Program Materials (i.e. binders/files are kept current in terms of daily session notes and raw data; toys are appropriate for client; data sheets are available; teaching stimuli (toys) available and in working order
· Manage multiple cases per day/week
· Meets/Reports to Supervisor on a weekly basis regarding cases
· Flexibility: is open and accepting to changes in cases and program delivery
· Responsible for maintaining communication between client families and service coordinator
· Demonstrates leadership skills by leading by example
· Provides hands on training to the Behavioral Therapist on interventions on a need basis during sessions

REQUIREMENT
· Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, special education, child development, applied behavior analysis, or related field
· Relevant ABA coursework (12 units). Experience may be substituted for the educational requirements at the discretion of agency directors.
· Minimum 3 years of experience working directly with children with Autism and/or developmental delays
· Knowledge and understanding of ESDM, PBS, PRT, ABA, and Reinforcement strategies
· Must be willing to drive
· Reliable transportation is required
· A valid driver’s license and auto insurance
· Must pass a DOJ and FBI background check
· Current TB test
· Current CPR certificate
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
· Must be able to run after an eloping child
· Frequent bending at the waist and knees, and lifting up to 30 lbs

SALARY
· Range from $20.00-$35.00 based on experience and education
