Managing Business Consultant SAP S/4HANA EWM
Job Description: An SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Solution Architect/Lead Consultant plays a multifaceted role focused on designing and implementing solutions within the SAP environment to optimize warehouse and transportation processes. Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Process Analysis, Solution Design, and Development:
- Analyze client business processes and requirements to design and architect solutions using the SAP S/4HANA EWM module.
- Configure the SAP EWM modules to optimize transportation processes.
- Prepare and present detailed system proposals and findings to stakeholders.
- Develop strategies to integrate these solutions into the client's existing landscape.
- Create scalable and efficient SAP EWM module configurations to meet business requirements, supporting scenarios such as:
- Inbound and Outbound Logistics Management: Efficiently manage receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Warehouse Slotting and Layout Optimization: Maximize storage space utilization and improve picking efficiency using SAP EWM's capabilities.
- Cross-Docking and Transshipment Operations: Support direct transfer of goods between inbound and outbound vehicles without intermediate storage.
- Yard Management: Efficiently handle trailers, containers, and other assets in the warehouse yard using SAP EWM's capabilities.
- Real-Time Visibility and Analytics: Leverage SAP S/4HANA's embedded analytics and reporting capabilities for real-time visibility into warehouse and transportation operations, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure SAP solutions are configured to meet industry-specific compliance requirements and regulations related to warehouse and transportation operations.
2. Project Management and Implementation:
- Lead and manage SAP EWM implementation projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee implementation teams to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.
- Coordinate with other project stakeholders, including business users, IT staff, and external vendors.
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and project management capabilities to ensure successful SAP EWM implementation and optimization for clients.
