CFO within construction industry seeking the right person to fill position of Controller, with potential to assume CFO role. 100% remote position, following initial training in Brick, NJ. Candidate must live in central NJ (in close proximity to Brick, NJ)
ROLE:
Full-time, hands-on role, managing all phases of 10-20M NYC Union construction company. Handle multiple companies.
Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial support to partners. Interact with clients as needed.
Prepare and manage proposals and change orders
Billings thru Quickbooks and AIA format as needed.
Secure certificates of insurance, year-end audits (OCIP & CCIP enrollments)
Produce weekly reports – A/R, job costing, open change order & bid logs
Collections on receivables
Weekly payroll and payroll taxes using Quickbooks
Prepare weekly certified payroll, when needed
Year-end reporting – W-2 forms, 1099 forms, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
Expertise within QuickBooks, AIA billings, job costing, Excel
Accounting degree preferred
Construction industry experience required

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
