Main Job Duties:
Development (50%)
- Responsible for the upkeep of our donor database, email lists, donor acknowledgements, and communications for the Partners for Potential Campaign
- Lead and increase the fundraising capacity in our 6-county footprint for the Partners for Potential Campaign.
- Work with the Board Finance Committee to create/implement a Fundraising Sustainability Plan.
- Build and cultivate new, current and former donors to encourage ongoing contributions.
- Acts as one of the primary contacts for funding, donations and fundraising event inquiries.
- Performs networking at selected community and leadership events.
- Supervise/manage other employees within development as deemed necessary by Executive Director
Marketing/Events (50%):
- Coordinating the creation, organization, and execution of engaging marketing content, including copy, images, videos, for social media, websites, emails, publications, and other opportunities
- Managing event email communications
- Reporting, compiling data pertaining to marketing/event success
- Coordinating monthly program newsletter
- Responsible for agency annual fundraising events from inception to post event documentation
- Assist events for program participants
- Coordinate multiple minor fundraising opportunities on an annual basis
- Coordinate board member, staff, committee groups, and volunteer engagement for events
- Development of stewardship events for waitlist Littles
- Direct agency communication with volunteers, clients, families, donors, and the general public
- Management/Coordination of the agency brand as dictated by BBBS of America
- Management of agency website
- Coordinate the development and implementation of communications, materials, and plans to promote and publicize the mission of the agency through all channels
Accountable for:
● Setting/meeting quarterly goals/objectives for increasing the number of donors/partnerships and new donations coming into the agency.
● Providing timely and accurate communication of event status, initiatives and gaps to the Executive Director and Board.
● Coordination with outside partners for agency marketing needs
● Stewardship of volunteers/donors as needed
● Furnish the board of directors/Executive Director with regular progress reports.
Qualifications & Requirements: This position requires a bachelor’s degree.. Excellent human relations skills, well-developed written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work within resource constraints, and excellent organizational and project management skills are essential. Work experience in the non-profit sector preferred. Experience with Canva, Wix, Bloomerang, Microsoft suite preferred.
