Position Summary
We are seeking an Accounting Manager who will play an essential role in planning and directing the accounting processes within the organization under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer. This incorporates complete management of the bookkeeping system and leading the monthly financial close process to guarantee that all financial records are properly logged and accounted for in financial reports. They will handle initiatives including accounts payable and receivable, supporting the operations team with purchase order management and project budget tracking, managing the financial audit process, supporting our tax advisors on tax filings, handling various financials reporting requirements, and the development of financial statements that accurately reflect the company's fiscal health and performance according to US GAAP.

Here is what we are looking for from you:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA). and a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 3-7 years as an Accounting Manager or similar role
- Strong technical skills in accounting software and financial management systems, such as QuickBooks. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are essential for financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards (US GAAPis critical.
- Strong analytical abilities to analyze financial data, identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Team-first attitude in assisting the project teams in execution by supporting purchase orders management and project budget tracking.
- Excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate financial information, analysis, and recommendations to various stakeholders, including senior management, board members, investors, and auditors.
How you will make an impact:
- Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
- Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with US GAAP.
- Tracks corporate and project budgets; reports significant variances to management.
- Works with external auditors and tax advisors to provide needed information for audit and tax processes.
