Position Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Residential and Small Business Sales Representatives ensuring budgeted sales targets are achieved and exceeded. The successful incumbent will lead and develop a team of sales professionals maintaining positive and collaborative business relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage and direct a team of sales representatives responsible for selling products within assigned territories
· Meeting and exceeding defined sales targets
· Following established sales guidelines and procedures
· Plan and deliver consistent revenue profit
· Recruits, on-boards, trains, develops and retains top talent sales personnel
· Continually improve the team’s sales performance by accompanying them on the road
· Constantly find ways to improve sales performance by assisting, training, coaching and developing
· Implements, shares and applies corporate policies, processes and programs to sales team
· Generate referrals with sales representatives by regularly developing and supporting partnerships
· Implement and administer sales programs & sales activities in residential and small business markets to maximize opportunities
· Ensure adherence to current CSG policies, procedures, products, programs, pricing, techniques, technologies, and services through communication and regular sales meetings
· Develop sales representatives for advancement and success by evaluating and communicating performance and job expectations
· Exemplify company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement
· Lead and coach a residential and small business sales team into an effective prospecting machine
· Develop a lead management system to effectively generate sales prospecting activity
· Fosters, encourages and stimulates self-generated sales
· Conducts Performance Management of sales representatives on an ongoing basis, including their activity level, funnel & pipeline and performance vs objectives
· Directs staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and coach sales representatives, while identifying struggling sales reps
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
· Participates in various lead generation events, including trade shows and exhibitions and other local strategic alliances
· Leverages internal resources effectively building working relationship within our organization
Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or Business or relevant industry experience
Experience:
· 3 to 5 years proven previous sales leadership experience
· 3 to 5 years of security solution sales (security systems, CCTV, Access control)
Skills:
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Proven team building skills, shares knowledge and provides coaching easily
· Aptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for customers
· Ability to travel for designated training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
