Job Description:
The role of the Community Director is to carry out the day to day operation at a facility. This includes carrying out the companies missions, develop an effective strategic plan and ensure the financial viability of the organization. Community Directors are well-versed in performance and operations management and capable in assuming delegated duties. They are leaders and critical thinkers, ready to solve problems before they become obstacles.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the leader and Liaison for the facility
- Assign Administrator license to the facility
- Oversee and manage the leadership team at the facility
- Develop and implement plans and goals for facility
- Coordinate and supervise daily operations
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Monitor attainment of objectives
- Undertake staffing responsibilities (Scheduling, hiring, training, evaluating etc.)
- Budge and monitor expenses and finances
- Maintain scheduling of events and represent the company when needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Area Director or Regional Team.
Requirements:
- Active administrator license in the state of locations
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Be of good moral and ethical character with a positive and energetic attitude.
- High School diploma/ GED or one to three months of related experience.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
Abilities:
- Experience as a manager or other similar position
- Experience in performance and operations management
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully and work harmoniously with personnel, residents, visitors and the general public.
- Able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, sitting and walk for long periods of time.
- Occasionally lift/or move up to 25 pounds
- Able to transport residents in wheelchairs.
