Vendor Recruitment Sales Representative
Location:*Fully Remote (with potential travel to festivals in Nashville, Memphis, St. Louis, and Huntsville)

We host festivals in key cities, providing vibrant spaces for networking and commerce. We are also expanding to two new cities in 2025.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through market analysis, outside sales activities, and effective account management.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit potential vendors for Shop Black Fest events.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Utilize various sales techniques, including social media outreach, telephone communication, and personal networking, to secure vendor participation.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new vendors.
- Maintain active engagement on Facebook and Instagram to promote Shop Black Fest.
- Provide outstanding customer service to potential and secured vendors.
- Analyze sales data to determine trends and forecast future sales.
- Learn and implement in-depth sales training techniques to enhance performance.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with current vendors in our ecosystem.
- Secure brick-and-mortar businesses for the Shop Black Fest program, which promotes and showcases local businesses in festival cities.
- Collaborate with the team on business development strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in event sales.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and draw relevant conclusions.
- Demonstrated success in account management and outside sales.
- Customer-focused with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Strong sales and marketing skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Energetic, driven, and goal-oriented attitude.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- No conflicts of interest, such as hosting personal pop-up events.
- Willingness to travel to festivals to build relationships with vendors (travel is encouraged but not required).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred, but not required.
Basic Requirements:
- Make a minimum 100 outreach efforts per week (including emails, social media messages, and other forms of communication) to attain the base salary of $500 per month.
- Active engagement and regular updates on progress and strategies to attract vendors.
Compensation:
- Base salary: $500 per month.
- Commission: Up to $2,500 per month based on performance.
- Opportunity for growth and renegotiation of pay after 6 months based on performance.
