We have an opportunity to get into a management role with one of the fastest growing personal lines (think home and auto) insurance agencies in Texas, TGS Insurance, located in Houston, servicing all of Texas as well as three other states.
Overview of role
We are seeking a Manager in Training to learn the skills to lead a sales team. You will gain hands-on experience by meeting sales goals and learning to manage our professional agents. If you are a self-starter, work well in fast-paced environments, and have had success being moved up in your past work experience, you may be a great fit here.

1. Our average Account Executive made > $50/hour last quarter. Our managers have a strong plan with solid base plus weekly and annual goals. We made weekly bonus goals nearly every week in Q1 and Q2. People are making a lot of money.

We don’t cold call, you don’t have to sell your friends and family, or any of those old school sales tactics. We bring legit people who absolutely must have the product we are selling; you solve their problem, we all win.
Insurance is a financial services job and is an amazing long-term industry. While no business or industry is guaranteed; if you own a home, you must have home insurance, if you drive a car, you must have auto insurance.
We teach the insurance business, the methodology, you just bring effort, energy, and enthusiasm to do what is best for the agents and the client. We have agents that are 18-70 years old with all levels of experience. Almost all had zero insurance experience when they started. Not that we hold it against you, but we do not require any industry experience.

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Clean Background – Employment in this position will be contingent upon obtaining and/or maintaining required agency credentials with state agencies (you must pass test for property and casualty license) as well as have no negatives that would prevent appointment by insurance carriers.
· Computer proficiency – You must be versed in common systems like outlook, and internet browsers. You must be fast at navigating many windows, operating 3 screens on their work stations. If you struggle to navigate systems, you will not succeed here.
· Ability to build rapport and provide a positive experience to both agents and clients
- Ability to effectively motivate others to meet their and company goals
- Train under an experienced manager to learn the insurance business, how we sell and our management processes
- Sales experience (outside sales, inside sales representative, or telemarketing preferred)
- Minimum 1-3 years in some level of management/training/leadership
· Must be able to work on-site at our facility I-10/Kirkwood
