Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of our clients.
Duties:
- Assist individuals with some or all of the following: daily living activities, including personal hygiene, social skills, safety skills, assist with becoming a participating member of their community
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors
- Assist with transportation needs, including driving individuals to activities, volunteer opportunities or community outings
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for individuals
-Must be able to care for a medically Fragile person
Skills:
- Knowledge of systems and procedures related to direct care services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
