Universal Presentation Concepts (UPC) is looking to a hire full-time Customer Service Representatives to join our Customer Service department at our Madison, WI facility. Our Customer Service opening is a key role in our organization as our "Director of First Impressions" both in person and over the phone.

Candidates who are best suited for the Customer Service Representative position are highly self-motivated, creative, a team player, and have office administrative or customer service experience. Common work duties include:
- Answers all incoming phone calls on a multi-line system, effectively routes them and takes complete messages.
- Handles all daily administrative duties which can include running reports, sending tracking & inventory information to customers, filing documents, and gathering paperwork for internal departments.
- Enters orders into computer system quickly and accurately.
- Assists with customer concerns and product inquiries.
- Maintains solid customer relationships by fielding questions and concerns with speed and professionalism.
- Ensures that customers’ issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing internal staff of any problems that may arise.
- Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, and quality standards are met.
- Become well versed in UPC’s products.
- Daily monitoring of UPC’s ecommerce website and communication with customers regarding web orders.
- Daily monitoring of any order platforms that external customers use.
- Monitoring office suppliers and working with purchasing department to order when needed.
- Email and phone reach outs to new customers to solicit new business.
- Adding new customer contact info to internal email blast platform that UPC uses (i.e. constant contact).
- Gathering and documenting how customers heard of UPC.
- Completing test assemblies of UPC products when needed to increase awareness and knowledge that will assist in servicing customers as well as help communication with internal staff.
- Continuously looks for opportunities to contribute value added work which may include helping other team members and departments.
- Other duties as assigned when needed.
Experience and skills needed to be successful:
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience with data entry or as receptionist in an office environment
- Pleasant and articulate phone voice
- Able to work under tight deadlines in a very fast-paced environment
- Quick learner and able to retain details
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Fluent in all Microsoft Office products and data entry
- Must be able to work independently in an open office environment
This role generally works office hours Monday-Friday 8a-5p. We can be flexible on start and end times as long as you are meeting business needs.
