Here at Bitter Root Pottery, we are looking for someone with working clay knowledge. Hand-building &/or wheel throwing is suitable. An enthusiasm for ceramics and the community is key.
Studio assistants help run the day-to-day operation of the studio. This position requires retail and customer service skills as you'll be greeting customers, working with our Talech POS systems and answering phones & basic emails. The position will focus on teaching, organizing, marking and glazing student pots, loading & unloading kilns, and general studio cleaning.
**We are looking for someone who has experience wheel throwing and can jump right in to training to teaching 2 hr beginner classes.
Bitter Root Pottery staff are independent, disciplined, have solid time-management and discernment skills. Staff are always hospitable and welcoming to anyone who walks through the door!
