Position Overview
The CRM Specialist, a fully remote position, will report directly to the Senior Manager, CRM, and plays a critical role in the setup, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns and transactional communications that leverage our customer contact info, including but not limited to email, SMS, on-site messaging, and direct mail campaigns.
Essential job functions:
- Maintain CRM marketing calendar to keep cross-functional teams informed of upcoming and in-progress campaigns
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our email and SMS platforms, learn and understand its capabilities, advocate for ways to increase efficiencies, troubleshoot issues, and make recommendations for improved performance
- Manage creation of ad hoc promotional campaigns and maintenance of transactional email/sms campaigns, including, but not limited to, conducting A/B testing, audience segmentation, scheduling deliveries and designing automated trigger logic to continuously optimize and improve campaign performance and executional excellence
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, email opt-outs, automation triggers and other aspects of email and sms execution
- Monitor email and SMS campaign performance using KPIs, analyze data to obtain insights, and send weekly/ monthly reports on all findings
- Own email creative briefs, copy requests, and updates for new & existing email programs, ensuring all assets are aligned with brand tone

QualificationsMinimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or other related field preferred, or relevant equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years working on an email marketing channel with hands-on experience building and deploying promotional and transactional emails, particularly in an e-commerce business; SMS and/or Direct Mail experience is a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency working with data to derive actionable insights that lead to business performance improvements, particularly from A/B testing data and email optimization
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Experience working with ESPs, CRMs, and inbox deliverability tools, and/or other adtech/martech platforms; experience with Iterable is a plus
- Proficient in Google Analytics and/or other web analytics tools
- Experience building monthly campaign content and multi-step email triggers
- Experience in development of reports and analysis of marketing campaign performance

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
- The working hours for this position begin at 9am EST.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Talking through the computer for many meetings and one-to-one conversations
- Continuous viewing of a computer monitor and data entry.
- Travel as necessary (<10%).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
