Direct Report: Clinical Supervisor
Hours: Hourly rate with 0-40+ hours per week; Hours vary and include daytime and evening.
Travel Requirements: Workday travel within the Indianapolis metro area and surrounding counties. No overnights.
Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field. Two years post-graduate experience and specialized training as appropriate to patient population required. (e.g. complex trauma, runaways, sexual abuse, human trafficking and/or trauma informed care). Must be licensed eligible through the State of Indiana, having obtained or currently working towards obtaining one of the following licenses: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT).
Position Summary: Ascent 121 provides individual, group and family therapy as well as diagnostic and evaluation services for survivors of commercial sexual exploitation and human trafficking (ages 8-24). Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and Chief Operating Officer, services may be implemented in the community, at our office, virtually, or via the Impact Program at Lutherwood Residential Treatment Center located at 1525 N. Ritter Avenue, Indianapolis.
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Clinical
Perform diagnostic assessments to determine client risks, needs and strengths (including family and community supports). Collecting diagnostic information, recommending immediate treatment plans for clients. Provide direct, intensive psychiatric therapy to individuals, families and/or groups identified as victims of sexual exploitation and/or trafficking. Provide crisis intervention. Practice as an interdependent member of a health team and provide important components of primary health care through direct social work services, consultation, collaboration, referral, teaching, and advocacy. Assess and treat clients utilizing a variety of best-practice treatment modalities exercising mature professional judgment and using a wide range of social work skills to assist clients and their families in dealing with trauma.
Productivity
Meet with Chief Operating Officer and/or the supervising psychologist at mutually agreed upon intervals to review cases. Maintain records according to Ascent 121 policies and state accreditation standards. Meet Ascent 121 productivity standards.
Qualifications: Never have been shown by credible evidence (e.g., a court or jury, a department investigation, or other reliable evidence) to have abused, neglected, sexually exploited, or deprived a child or adult or to have subjected any person to serious injury as a result of intentional or grossly serious injury as a result of intentional or grossly negligent misconduct as evidenced by an oral or written statement to this effect obtained at the time of application and evidence of having made efforts to obtain and evaluate references from previous employers.
At least two professional, educational or personal references that attest to the person’s capability of performing the duties of the position and to the person’s suitability of working with or around children and vulnerable populations. Satisfactory preliminary criminal history background check and a satisfactory fingerprint records check determination as required by law. Reliable transportation and clean driving record are essential to fulfilling the job responsibilities. Willingness to pursue and participate in continuing education to stay up to date on best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
A high level of analytical skill is required. Candidate must be able to speak and write clearly. Writing sample will be required during the interview process.
Interpersonal skills necessary to deal with a wide variety of clients and professionals and have knowledge of community social service resources.
Must be 21 years of age or older.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
