The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the oversight of landscaping and building maintenance of the resort. The resort includes 44 units and a high-volume restaurant located on 6 acres of lush desert grounds. The maintenance manager is responsible for all aspects of the buildings, patios, commercial kitchen and landscaping. This person must be knowledgeable in all mechanical engineering and be able to trouble shoot and make decisions to quickly to resolve any plumbing, electrical or structural problems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years or more of progressive hotel or building management experience
- Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Proven project management skills
- Engineering/Facility Management education preferred
- Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
- Financial management and budgeting skills
- Effectively lead, coach and counsel a team
- Flexibility and willingness to work as the demands of business dictates
- Must have the ability to perform physical labor (including, but not limited to, the ability to bend, twist, stoop, lift 50 lbs, as well climb a ladder)
- Responds to emergency situations during and after standard hours to resolve any safety issues.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
