Front Desk Receptionist/Concierge
Flexible Schedule, usually 3pm-11pm 3 days a week, 11pm-7am 2 days a week including Weekends and Holidays
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform guest services functions as required (i.e. check guests in/out, take reservations, we-up calls, etc.).
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system
- Provide information to guests and answer inquiries about the company or services
- Handle guest complaints or concerns and escalate as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Prepare and distribute necessary daily reports as required (i.e., Daily Operating Report, Discount Programs, Tax Reports, etc.) according to hotel standards.
- Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
- Prioritize job functions in order to meet deadlines.
- Ensure accuracy of all numbers reported including statistics.
- Input and update financial information into corporate communications network.
- Keep management abreast of any unusual operational or financial events and/or deviations of policies or procedures.
Experience:
- Previous hotel experience or customer service/receptionist role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Computer knowledge/skills required, knowledge of Opera Cloud a plus!
- Late/Overnight shift
