Responsibilities:
- Conduct dog training sessions for clients and their pets
- Assess and evaluate dogs' behavior and temperament
- Develop personalized training plans based on individual needs and goals
- Teach basic and advanced obedience commands
- Address behavioral issues, such as reactivity or separation anxiety
- Provide guidance and support to pet owners on training techniques and strategies
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to training plans as needed
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions and client information
Experience:
- Previous experience in animal care or handling, such as pet grooming, animal restraint, or pet sitting
- Knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques
- Familiarity with veterinary practices and procedures is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously
