Job Summary
As a Front Desk Receptionist at Bel-Air Country Club, you play a crucial role in setting the tone for our members' and guests' experiences. Your warm and professional demeanor will be the first impression they encounter, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for answering and directing phone calls, efficiently managing check-ins, providing information about our exclusive offerings, properly making lunch and dinner reservations, performing basic office functions and addressing inquiries with a focus on exceptional customer service.
Job Tasks/Duties

Greet and welcome members and guests upon arrival in a professional and friendly manner.

Provides information and assists in guiding members and guests to their specific destinations.

Answer phones calls, direct calls to appropriate personnel, and take messages as needed.
- Manage check-in and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Respond to email inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and inquiries regarding club amenities and services.

Assist in administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, managing schedules, retrieval and distribution of mail, and prepare envelopes for mailing.
- Prepare bag tags for guests golfing the following day and distribute to Valet.

Learn and be able to implement emergency procedures when necessary.

Provide limited club security by monitoring access of visitors and keeping watch of cameras.

Maintain a strong knowledge of club policies, facilities, and membership offerings.

Handle and resolve member complaints or concerns in a courteous and professional manner, escalating to management if necessary.

Maintain a neat and organized front desk area, including the lobby and reception area.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication for member satisfaction.

Assist members/guest with luggage when necessary.
- Perform other appropriate tasks assigned by the CEO, Controller or Office Manager.

Adhere to all established procedures and policies for front desk operations.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or related field are a plus.

Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a high-end hospitality or club environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.

Proficient in using computer systems, including reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

A friendly and approachable demeanor, maintaining a polished and professional appearance.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift/push/pull to 50 pounds.
