The YWCA of Yonkers Summer Camp serves a diverse population of children ages 5 through 12 years.
Responsibilities:
Provide general supervision and care for campers during a variety of daily scheduled activities both on and off site. The individual must treat all children with dignity and respect and adhere to the guidelines set forth in the Summer Camp Safety Plan.
- Implement daily program activities under the direction of the Camp Coordinator
- Supervise program participants and keep campers appropriately engaged at all times
- Maintain order at all times
- Report and document all accidents or unusual incidents
- Participate in staff and parent orientation.
Requirements:
· At least 18 years of age with prior experience in camping, supervising children and/or related training
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
· Commitment to YWCA Mission, Values and Goals
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $16.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
