Bakery Production Kitchen Manager
Quack’s Bakery is looking for a bakery production kitchen manager to help with our business. If you meet these requirements, we would love to have a conversation. A cover letter is strongly desired. We are looking for a candidate who would be:
-working with production to develop new cost-effective recipes
-assuring the production schedule is met for both retail and wholesale items
-ensuring product consistency and quality for both AM and PM shifts
- costing existing and new baked goods
- conducting sales and labor forecasting
- filling in as needed in production
- making and adjusting the schedule for AM and PM back of house personnel
- interviewing and hiring back of house personnel
- ordering ingredients and conducting inventory in partnership with the Front of House Manager
- Facilities management and scheduling maintenance
- Writing and developing training materials and procedural materials as needed
We are looking for someone with:
-5+ years experience managing a bakery or foodservice establishment
-5+ years commercial baking or foodservice experience with emphasis on baking
- Ability to get along with and manage many different types of people in various positions
- Experience conducting inventory and ordering supplies
- Experience forecasting sales and labor needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
