Overview:
BroadPath is hiring Licensed Health Insurance Agents. Our Licensed Health Insurance Agents is responsible for providing consultative recommendations and answers inbound calls of those interested in purchasing insurance plans and benefits. This includes qualification of consumer, complete needs assessment, educate on plan benefits, and steer towards an appropriate Medicare Advantage health plans when applicable Licensed Health Insurance Agents are responsible for make outbound calls to potential members requesting additional information

Build and maintain trusting relationships with members and prospects, and establish yourself as a trusted advisor

Using active listening, you will be an expert in interpreting the needs of current and prospective members, answering questions about the products, and matching each prospect to their ideal plan

Average salary is $18-$22 hourly

Training Completion Bonus - Paid out to those with 95% or higher attendance upon completion of training

End of Season Bonus - Paid out end of season for agents that met the following metrics: Conversion rate based on client goal, Quality, Attendance (90% or higher), and Productivity

Qualifications:
- Active resident health insurance license, and willingness to acquire additional non-resident licenses based on client needs (no cost to candidate – client/BP will coordinate and cover licensing fees)

AHIP certification required. BP to purchase. Agent will complete AHIP certification during training.

2 years of previous Medicare experience
-
Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, determine needs, and consult with caller to recommend appropriate product to fit their needs

Comfortable with “soft sell” techniques
-
Strong computer and telephone multitasking skills including: the ability to effectively search for and type information on the computer, navigate through multiple windows and screens quickly, and inputting information accurately while keeping pace with the call

High school diploma or GED
-
Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications

Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within the specified hours of operation including the training period, where lunches and breaks are scheduled, with the flexibility to adjust daily schedule, and work over-time and/or weekends, as needed
Certifications / License(s) Required: State of MA Health Insurance Producer License; AHIP certification will be obtained during training.
