- Accurately build and install complete plumbing systems showcasing a clear understanding of all types of plumbing fittings.
- Perform daily quality inspections per SSLLC Quality Standards, create punch lists.
- Diligently track rework down to the individual contributor; individual training as required.
- Pre-plan job requirements with the project manager, general superintendent, and purchasing manager.
- Take-off, order, and schedule delivery of materials
- Manage material storage, staging, delivery, and security on the job site.
- Execute production plans and schedules under the direction of the General Contractor. Includes manpower and safety.
- Must be able to visualize, anticipate, and organize the construction sequence and flow using design information and experience.
- Manage the installation of the Plumbing scope.
- Communicate change order needs to the General Superintendent.
- Coordinate installation with other tradesmen, the General Contractor, and the client.
- Timely execution of the Daily Huddle.
- Set expectations for quality and productivity needs with crews.
- Professionally and effectively communicate with the GC Superintendent.
- Consistently achieve high levels of employee engagement through effective leadership and management of projects so that employees have a sense of pride in the work and maximize their earning potential.
- Provide a work environment based on respect, competence, fairness, satisfaction, and quality. Promote a team atmosphere.
- Promote SSLLC values and culture.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
