As a Patient Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting patients, volunteers and others between their private residences and the hospital, medical offices and/or surgical/medical centers.

Responsibilities:

Performs special transports and maintains assigned vehicle, including keeping the vehicle clean and in good working order.

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Languages:
Certifications:

Valid Florida Driver's License (VDL) with no more than four points.

AHA Heartsaver CPR and AED (Non-Medical)
Complexity of Work:

Able to safely operate and perform routine maintenance inspections on a passenger van.

Able to interpret and follow maps.

Able to read, write and speak the English language fluently.

Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Work Experience:
-
Experience in the transportation industry preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Sitting/driving for 2-4 hours continuously and 8-10 hours with breaks.

Good hearing, depth perception and peripheral vision.

Able to assist physically challenged passengers in and out of van.
Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
