Job Summary:
The Executive Director of Florida position will have extensive and progressive management and leadership experience in a business or health care organization. Possessing strong knowledge of licensing and regulatory requirements; significant understanding of related health care regulation, general knowledge of industry trends and issues, and business patterns. Superior knowledge of clinical treatments and clinical trends.
Education and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health care administration, or other health care related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
- 4-6 years of progressive and upper-level management experience as an Executive Director, Clinical Director, Operations Director, facility or health care executive, or other upper-level executive position in a health care, behavioral health, or substance abuse treatment setting. 5 years of experience may be substituted for a graduate degree.
- Must successfully pass a level two background check and meet all requirements of the Department of Children & Families Affidavit of Good Moral Character.
Executive Director Responsibilities:
- Provides direct supervision to all Florida facility management and clinical supervision staff.
- Provides oversight of clinical systems and processes at all Florida facilities.
- Ensures that provision of clinical care, treatment, and/or services meets quality and regulatory guidelines.
- Develops short-term and long-term strategic goals to guide growth and development of all Florida facilities.
- Evaluates projects, programs, and/or services to identify potential for implementation at the facility level.
- Identifies contracts and services needed at all Florida facilities.
- Works in conjunction with the compliance department to ensure all Florida facilities have appropriate policies and procedures; ensuring staff is educated on key processes and protocols.
- Supports development of budget for Florida facilities; monitoring implementation and compliance as needed to ensure financial goals are met.
- Ensures facilities develop and implement adequate staffing plans. Works with managers to identify staffing needs and issues. Works with CEO to address staffing needs.
- Works with legal and compliance department to ensure that Florida facilities comply with licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Identifies and develops a plan for addressing Florida facilities physical plan; addressing capital improvement needs and initiatives.
- Oversees Florida facility’s compliance with AHCA, DCF, and other licensing and regulatory requirements or regulations, including approval of all communications and corrective action plans.
- Works with UR, Medical Records, Compliance, Human Resources, and Legal departments to respond and or resolve reported issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensures all Florida facilities have current and updated required annual plans including Emergency Management, infection control, and other required plans.
- Reviews and monitors the provision of contracted services to ensure that services are being delivered as required; ensures the supervision of care provided by Licensed Independent Practitioners and/or contractors.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
