Position Summary: We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Marketing Specialist with a strong background in healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing trends, and healthcare industry regulations. This role will be responsible for developing and executing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive patient acquisition and retention.This can be an employed or contractor position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing plans aligned with the company’s goals and brand identity.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimize strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, particularly within the healthcare sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, PR, and clinical staff, to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive online community interactions.
- Ensure all social media activities comply with healthcare regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA.
- Monitor competitors and industry influencers to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of creating and managing successful social media campaigns.
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software.
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with patient engagement platforms and healthcare CRM systems.
