Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Representative with Door Hardware experience to join our team. As a Door Hardware Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical assistance and support to our customers.
Duties:
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and door hardware issues reported by customers
- Provide IT support for various systems, including VPN, ServiceNow, and firewall configurations
- Assist customers with Windows operating system-related inquiries and problems
- Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Document all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system
- Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and technologies related to technical support
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques
- Experience in providing IT support and resolving computer hardware issues
- Familiarity with VPN configurations and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
- Understanding of firewall concepts and configurations
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Previous experience working in a help desk or desktop support role is preferred
- Familiarity with Jira or other issue tracking software is a plus
