KITCHEN MANAGER

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Uphold and abide by the employment policies of High Five
● Consistently hold staff accountable to company standards
● Provide quality and consistent food
● Work on the line as a Hands on Kitchen Manager/Manager
● Follow all recipe guides, and cooking standards
● Properly train staff members
● Conduct accurate and complete Weekly Inventories
● Establish and maintain professional relationships with accounts
● Know and ensure that proper Health Department standards are followed, 90 and above
● Evaluate applicable employees in a professional and timely manner.
● Solve day-to-day operation problems using appropriate problem solving skills.
● Set professional weekly goals and meet deadlines set forth by upper level management
● Organize the restaurant following proper food rotation and cleanliness procedures
● Order all food, paper, chemical, and other supplies as needed to run the store
● Record and organize store invoices
● Create weekly staff schedules to fit the scheduling forecast and needs of the restaurant
● Ensure all employees follow proper policies and procedures
● Follow all company standards for health, safety, sanitation, and security
● Send weekly update report to the F&B director
● Perform other duties as assigned by upper management
● Prepare notes, action plans, and follow up meetings with Upper level management
● Ensure Kitchen has appropriate licenses, labor and health poster, and any other compliance materials
● Anything and everything to improve company profitability, energy, and quality
● Conduct Weekly Orders and establish Proper Par levels
● Maintain a safe and clean working environment
● Create weekly schedules with cost projections and work within budgets
● Achieve a BOH labor/Food cost not to exceed 50% of gross adjusted sales
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

● Ability to motivate and lead staff and perform occasional front of house manager duties
● Willingness to attend trainings and obtain certifications as needed

● Food Managers permit
● Valid driver's license
● Regular and predictable attendance
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
● Be at least 21 years of age
● 2 to 5 years of management experience in food & beverage
● Basic experience with Microsoft Suit

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
