Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Group Leader to join our team. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities for a group of students in a dynamic and engaging environment. This role requires a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide a safe and nurturing space for students to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead group activities for students, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere
- Implement educational and recreational programs that promote learning and development
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to support student engagement and cooperation
- Collaborate with team members to plan and organize daily schedules and activities
- Provide guidance and support to students, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
Requirements:
- Preferred previous experience working with students in settings such as daycare or classroom environments
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage a group of children effectively while promoting a positive learning environment
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- A background in Christian counseling or related field is a plus
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative activities
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred
