Summary:
The Data Integration Developer will support an enterprise Student Information System and accompanying database systems, data feeds, data reporting and data integrations. The enterprise student data system provides direct and critical access for approximately 13,000 teachers and administrators, 130,000 students, and a growing number of parents and guardians through the use of integrated web-based portals. This system facilitates the data entry, storage, and processing of all aspects of student data including census, demographics, attendance, health, behavior, grades, report cards, scheduling, academic progress, and registration. The Data Integration Developer will work with data in the integration into an Oracle PL/SQL database.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support of an enterprise student information system platform and related enterprise applications
· Manage the technical implementation of new modules, features, and product upgrades of the student information system
· Integrate new systems and data with existing relational database structure
· Troubleshoot data issues
· Monitor data feeds and loads
· Execute data loads, ETL processes and data backups
· Perform gap analysis and support data integration issues
· Refine system performance and functionality
· Provide architecture guidance and support to technical leads
· Assist in generating data extracts and reports
· Document all technical procedures and user guides

Education, Experience and Certifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree and/or IT Certifications
Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Experience with shell scripting and crontab in a Linux/Unix environment
. Python, Git, putty experience is a plus
· Background in Education and/or public sector government is a plus
· Experience with ETL, data transformation, and integration processes is a plus
· Experience with data marts, data warehousing, or business intelligence tools a plus
· Strong communication Skills
