Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Full-time, Project-based, Senior Logistics Engineer to support the PMA 271 Program Office in Lexington Park, MD /Patuxent River, MD
Tasks Performed:
- Will provide Integrated Product Support (IPS) program management and logistics support to the NAVAIR PMA-271 TACAMO Recapitalization Program during the Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase to include acquisition and modification activities.
- Will develop a digital engineering strategy (digital thread) for the TACAMO Recapitalization Program, to include bi-direction integration of various software (CAMEO, SlicWave, TeamCenter) and ensuring proper data flow across different security domains.
- Research, identify and recommend resources required for the management of product data. Ensure the DoD’s data strategy is factored into all goals being met while designing the digital thread.
- Develop data quality metrics to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, duplicity, and timeliness.
- Compile and write documentation of data structure and program development in the use of new systems.
- Design and implement models, databases, and tools aimed at standardizing data analysis.
- Develop a data security plan in accordance with the latest DoD and DON directives and instructions.
- Manage program meetings (Monthly Drumbeat, PLM/Data Flow, and Systems Data Overlap).
- Will direct and coordinate program activities designed to provide sub-contractors, management, and customers with logistics technology that ensures effective and economical support concerned for manufacturing or servicing of products, systems, or equipment to include Analyze contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product.
Education and Experience:
- MS or MA Degree in Engineering or Science
- At least ten (10) years’ FTE experience in an engineering or logistics position, three (3) of which must be directly related to US DoD Naval systems. Demonstrated knowledge in the area of engineering or logistics expertise.
- Experience performing NAVAIR Management & Integration of Production Support Elements during the early life-cycle stages of an DoD Acquisition Weapons System program to develop the infrastructure required to sustain the weapon system from Operational and Sustainment phase through weapon system sundown.
