**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Experienced Dental Assistant II (or equivalent) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. Excellent four hand skills and organization is a must.
**Duties:**
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Take and record patient medical and dental histories
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions following dental work
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Perform various office tasks as needed
**Experience:**
- Prior experience in dental assisting required
- Comfort with medical terminology and anatomy
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and medical imaging
- Experience with dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Eaglesoft experience is beneficial
**Requirements:**
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- Up to date certification in dental radiography
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills
