The Role: We are seeking a charismatic, personable, and professional Personal Trainer to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating and delivering exercise plans tailored to individual client goals and providing outstanding client service in a supportive and motivating environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct personalized training sessions tailored to clients’ specific goals, monitoring progress and adapting plans as necessary.
- Regularly assess client fitness levels, providing feedback and encouragement.
- Educate clients on exercise techniques, nutrition, and overall wellness.
- Maintain NYLO’s high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
- Stay informed about the latest fitness trends and research to continually enhance service quality.
- Utilize NYLO’s app for virtual training to write programs and maintain contact with virtual clients.
Compensation and Training:
- Initial Training: The first month of employment involves in-depth training in the NYLO Method of fitness and program design, focusing on building functional strength through mobility, strength, and cardiovascular endurance. This period includes training on how to effectively use the NYLO Fitness app for virtual client management. This one-month training period is compensated at $16 per hour for 20-25 hours per week.
- Compensation After Initial Training:
- Training Sessions: Starting at $65 per hour, with annual increases (Year 2: $75/hour, Year 3: $85/hour, Year 4: $95/hour).
- Non-Training Hours: $16 per hour.
Schedule:
- Shifts begin at 6 AM on weekdays. Personal trainers should also consider themselves on call for evenings and weekends to accommodate client needs and scheduling flexibility.
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from an accredited program (NASM, ACSM, etc.).
- Minimum of 2 years of personal training experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular health, nutrition, and program design.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients, fostering a positive and productive training environment.
