Role Overview:
This position is responsible for proactively managing a group of assigned accounts and prospects to drive market penetration and accelerate sales growth. The account manager is expected to quickly build customer rapport and establish trust and credibility through a consultative selling style, thereby building a funnel of opportunities to close. Sellers in this role will receive support and guidance from management and other internal departments, however, it is imperative that a self-starter mentality is in place, along with the ability to manage and build their own sales business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Make 60/outbound calls per day.

Responsible for managing and growing a sales territory with a challenging, yet achievable growth target

Engage clients and prospects via phone to identify sales opportunities for closure using funnel management techniques, for the development and growth of individual sales territory. This includes, but is not limited to, providing quotations, cross-selling, up-selling and minimizing discounting where possible.

Execute a consultative sales strategy.

Populate and maintain the highest standards of data integrity in CRM.

Collaborate with other Inside Service Sales Representatives to improve processes.

Engage in department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through visual management and countermeasures where appropriate.

Cross-functional interfacing with other commercial departments to leverage the best resources to close business.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor’s degree required.

2 years minimum sales experience, progressive tele-sales experience selling products and services in a business-to-business environment or equivalent experience.

Demonstrated ability to listen to and seek out solutions to customer needs.

Proven ability at cross-selling and up-selling; demonstrated experience increasing revenue within existing accounts by broadening and deepening solution placement.

Ability to handle technical questions relating to the product.

Effective organizational and time management skills.

Strong working knowledge of CRM preferred.

Good communication skills; both written and verbal.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The ability to use a telephone and personal computer, while seated for the majority of an 8-hour shift, is required.

Pay Range: $XX.XX - $XX.XX/yr. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position at the time of posting. Within the range, the compensation will be determined based on education/training, skill set, experience, and other organizational needs.
