Our team is excited to welcome the next Customer Service Representative, who will serve as the primary contact and liaison with personal line clients, handling all matters that go into providing a wonderful experience.

As Customer Service representative you will:
- Service customers through processing policy changes
- Educate customers about coverage limitations and inform customers of policy changes, coverage exclusions and insurance coverage needs.
- Customer Service:
- Talking on the phone
- Taking payments
- Data entry
- Respond to customers’ and underwriters questions in a timely and professional manner
- Advise customers regarding coverage and risk exposures, review contracts and policies, negotiate with carriers to minimize gaps and omissions.
- Review for potential gaps in coverage or coverage's yet to offer and ensure these gaps are documented as discussed and/or offered
- Research coverage issues, including negotiate with carriers to resolve client needs and expectations.
- Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries and problems.
- Attend claims reviews, ensuring claims issues are addressed and resolved.
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Producers and other team members to provide coverage checklists and other resources to ensure client focus is maintained at all times.
- Assist marketing new business
- Assisting customers with billing questions
- Adhere to Workflows - including written confirmation of new and renewal binding, evidence of coverage, changes to coverage and other related items
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management system
- Assisting clients in the claim process, completing AMS and notifying the carrier.
- Provide technical expertise (knowledge of insurance coverage and products) by analyzing client needs, coverage forms and quotations during the sales and service process on new and renewal business
- Create positive synergy between departments with pursuing cross-selling opportunities (Property/Casualty, Employee Benefits, Personal Risk Services)
- Other projects or duties, as needed.
