Frontline National is currently seeing a Team Lead for a research study led by the Michigan Dept of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) in Kalamazoo, MI. Research members will collect data at a Study Office as part of the Michigan PFAS Exposure and Health Study (MIPEHS) from approximately September 2024, to September 2025. The Team lead will report to and support the Research Office Manager.

Research Team Lead daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with in-person training activities, certify study office staff to work on the project, and additional training and team building activities throughout data collection.
- Attend and assist with weekly management meetings and monthly study meetings for all staff.
- Attend weekly quality and production meetings with study leaders. Attend project meetings with clients and others as necessary.
- Appropriately and clearly communicating with all staff, project management, clients and the general public.
- Independently oversee study office shifts if/when the Research Office Manager is unavailable.
- Assisting the Research Office Manager with setting up the study office.
- Interact with all subcontractors/service vendors and handling any issue resolution.
- Communicate with building management/maintenance to address any building related needs during data collection.
- Direct technical systems and equipment issues to appropriate parties for resolution and following up to verify completion.
- Coordinate daily project procedures and tasks among study office staff in conjunction with the Research Office Manager.
- Managing media, visitor and call-in questions and directing them to appropriate staff.
- Conduct participant appointments and serve as back up to study staff.
- Adhere to all project protocols associated with participant procedures.
- Coordinate and conduct reminder calls to participants prior to their appointments and to follow-up on missed appointments.
- Provide a clear explanation of study procedures to participants and their family.
- Assist the ROM with inventory management as well as preparing shipments.
- Maintain quality data collection.
- Assist the ROM with closeout of office at the end of the study.
- Coordinating supply pickups.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience working in a medical office or research setting preferred.
- One year of Phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Effective oral & written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams) on laptops or tablets.
- Available from September 2024 through August 2025, Possibly September 2025.
- Able to successfully complete project trainings.
- Keep Project information confidential.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Available to work, on average, 32 hours per week September 2024 through August 2025
- Must pass a Background Check
- All staff are encouraged to get vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to beginning work.
Training & Pay
- Attend and successfully complete Research Team Lead project training session throughout September and December 2024.
- Attend training for all study protocols, which are currently scheduled for September 2024, December 2024 and January 2025
- Assist with the in-person training and certifications of the other study office staff.
- Staff must also complete the requirements of an 8-hour research with human subjects training and several safety training's (6 hours)
- Team Lead rate of pay is $32 per hour.
