Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential leads.

Create and deliver qualified opportunities to other team members.

Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects.

Ensure follow-up by following up on leads and passing leads to appropriate team members with calls-to-action, dates, profile information, sources, etc.

Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients.

Support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.

Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email.

Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and emails.

Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate CRM platform.

Work with the Estimating Department to comply with customers' needs and requirements.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Adhere to safety rules and report equipment malfunctions to the proper authority.

Perform other duties as instructed by supervision.

Five or more years of direct work experience in a sales role.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Understanding of different fabrication/machining processes.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, challenging environment as part of the sales team.

Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.

Willingness and ability to travel a minimum of 75% of the time in the assigned territory.

Prior experience in sales supporting a heavy manufacturing, machining, or fabrication organization.
