The Chief Engineer position is considered a “working supervisor”. The Chief Engineer is responsible for all working matters in the operations of the facilities. Must be able to perform the following responsibilities: performing required services for building(s) with approximately 1 Mil square feet or greater, perform required services or multi-storied/multi-tenant facilities/executive offices, ability to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of equipment and systems, ability to operate and maintain Electrical Systems & Equipment ; read electrical schematics, ability to operate and maintain mechanical, plumbing, BAS, HVAC ( Boilers, Chillers, AHU’s) in commercial buildings, ability to operate and maintain fire protection and life safety systems and equipment, experience with building automation control systems such as BAS, Niagra, Tridium, JACE, Public Address, and Computerized Lighting Systems, ability to operate and maintain architectural and structural systems, fixtures and equipment, ability to conduct Service Request Desk Operation to include NCMMS, maintenance of landscape irrigation systems, ability to operate and maintain egress and access systems to include: locks, keys, keycard system, vehicle barrier system, static and dynamic bollard systems, dock levelers and bumpers, roll-up and sliding garage doors, experience with storm drainage systems, ability to operate and maintain sanitary sewage/ ejector equipment and systems.
Must be able to pass a federal background investigation.
