Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will meet with prospective customers, understand their needs, design custom pools, price projects, and close deals. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement:
- Meet with potential customers to discuss their pool construction needs.
- Build strong relationships and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales process.
- Understand and uncover buyers' needs and preferences.
- Design and Sales:
- Design custom pools that meet customers' specifications and preferences.
- Provide detailed project proposals, including pricing and timelines.
- Present designs and proposals to customers, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Close sales by effectively communicating the benefits and value of our services.
- Project Management:
- Conduct take-offs to accurately estimate project materials and costs.
- Apply for necessary permits and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Prepare and send contract agreements to clients.
- Invoice customers and follow up on payments as needed.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales activities and progress.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the pool construction or related industry.
- Strong understanding of pool design and construction processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in design software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with take-offs and project estimating.
- Knowledge of local building codes and permit application processes.
- Familiarity with invoicing and contract management.
Compensation:
This project is commission only of 5%. You will have on average 10+ appointments each week. You will be the only sales rep for this company and have the potential to make over $150,000 year 1
